1. Who is responsible
The controller for the personal data described here is ANTELYX. Our business details are in the Legal Notice. Data protection questions can be sent to info@antelyx.com.
2. What data we handle, and why
- Messages and inquiries. When you use the contact form or an Ask ANTELYX window, we receive your name, email address, country, optional phone number, your message, and the page, species or colony you asked about (with its SKU, price and availability). We use it to answer you. The website sends it to ANTELYX by email.
- Orders. When you order, the shop stores what is needed to process it: your name, billing and delivery address, email address, phone number, the order contents, the payment status and the shipping method. We use it to fulfil the contract, to ship the order, to keep accounting records and to answer questions about it.
- Account. An account is optional. If you create one, the shop stores your login details and order history.
- Technical data. The web server processes technical data, such as your IP address and browser, when a page is requested, so that the site can be delivered and kept secure.
The country you select in forms is used to help us answer your question. It does not decide on its own what we can send you.
3. Legal bases
We process data to answer your requests and to perform a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), to meet legal obligations such as tax and accounting rules (Art. 6(1)(c)), and for our legitimate interests in running and securing the website (Art. 6(1)(f)).
4. Who receives your data
- Hosting and email providers that run this website and deliver its email.
- Banks. If you pay by bank transfer, your bank and ours process the transfer, and we see the details that appear on our statement.
- Carriers, who receive your name, address and phone number to deliver the parcel.
- Authorities and advisers where the law requires it, for example tax authorities and accountants.
5. Translation of this website
This website is written in English. If you choose German or Polish with the language selector, the free GTranslate service translates the text of the page you are viewing in your browser using Google Translate, so the text of that page is sent to Google to be translated, and Google may process it outside the European Economic Area under Google’s own terms. Your choice is stored in your browser. If you choose English, no translation takes place. Please do not enter personal data into your browser’s translation of the page if you prefer not to share it; you can write to us in English at any time.

7. How long we keep data
We keep messages for as long as needed to answer them and to handle follow-up questions. Order data is kept for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability and, where processing is based on consent, to withdraw consent. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the authority of your federal state in Germany or the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) in Poland. 9. Security
This website is delivered over an encrypted connection. Forms are protected against automated misuse.
10. Changes
We update this policy when the website or the law changes.
